Watch Holly Humberstone Cover Harry Styles At BBC ‘Live Lounge’
The English singer-songwriter also performed the title track from her new album, Cruel World.

Holly Humberstone returned to BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge” on Wednesday to record a live session. The English singer-songwriter performed a cover of Harry Styles' “Coming Up Roses” and the title track from her new album, Cruel World, for the series.
Humberstone released her sophomore studio album, Cruel World, on April 10. The 12-song set featuring material she wrote with collaborator Rob Milton was the follow-up to 2023’s Paint My Bedroom Black.
Harry Styles, who played his own “Live Lounge” session in May, included “Coming Up Roses” on his 2026 album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. Humberstone put her stamp on the song by laying down a stirring rendition accompanied by piano, acoustic guitar and drums.
Holly Humberstone also delivered an intimate version of “Cruel World” for “Live Lounge.” The performance was a preview of Humberstone’s upcoming world tour. Humberstone kicks off the trek with a North American leg beginning on June 3 in Boston. She’ll cross the continent through June 29. Shows in Asia and Europe follow.
