Pianist Holly Bowling will return to Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California to perform a concert on Tuesday, April 28. The show will be Bowling’s lone solo piano headlining appearance in the immediate Bay Area until November.

Tickets to Holly Bowling’s solo concert at Sweetwater Music Hall on April 28 are on sale now. The all ages show begins at 8 p.m.

The Bay Area-based Bowling is familiar with taking the stage at Sweetwater Music Hall.

“Lotta memories in this room,” Bowling shared, adding, “so excited to play it this time just me and a piano.”

One notable memory of performing at the venue occurred in June 2019 when Bowling joined JamBase’s 20th anniversary celebration. The second performer to take the Sweetwater stage, after an opening Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey set, Bowling began with her instrumental arrangement of the Grateful Dead’s “Cassidy,” which expanded to incorporate elements of Phish’s “Pebbles & Marbles” and then segued back to complete “Cassidy.”

The seamless recital continued and concluded with Phish’s “Divided Sky,” embellished with a bit of “Happy Birthday To You” to mark the celebratory occasion.

Holly Bowling’s complete solo performance at JB20, unreleased until today, can be viewed below:

In addition to Sweetwater, Bowling’s upcoming tour schedule includes the Unlimited Devotion concert at Ardmore Music Hall in May. She will also appear at High Sierra Music Festival in July, where she will perform solo and with Lebo & Friends.

July will also see Bowling linking up with Greensky Bluegrass and performing solo at the Flood City Music Festival in Pennsylvania. August is set for Bowling to participate in two Terrapin Roadshow concerts in Oregon and perform at the Re/Evolution: Summerjam in Washington.
