Holly Bowling Shares ‘Eyes Of The World’ Video Featuring Phil Lesh

By Scott Bernstein Nov 15, 2016 6:36 am PST

On November 4 pianist Holly Bowling had one of the biggest thrills of her career, when she teamed up with Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh as well as Ross James and Eric DiBerardino for a special Happy Hour performance at Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael, California. Holly has rolled out video of one of the highlights of the set.

Bowling added the music of the Grateful Dead to her repertoire after she reimagined “Eyes Of The World” for our Songs Of Their Own video series. We can only imagine the emotion she felt as she performed “Eyes” with Phil. Lesh handled vocals, while Holly and Ross James each took solos. Watch Holly Bowling, Phil Lesh, Eric DiBerardino and Ross James’ version of “Eyes Of The World”:
