Watch Hiss Golden Messenger Perform Live For WXPN

Hiss Golden Messenger (M.C. Taylor) played a live session for University Of Pennsylvania public radio station WXPN. The solo performance featured previews of the upcoming new Hiss Golden Messenger album, Quietly Blowing It, and more.
Taylor’s session was recorded live at The North Star Church of the Arts in his current hometown of Durham, North Carolina. The set started with the Quietly Blowing It single “Sanctuary.” Taylor then played “My Wing” from the 2019 LP, Terms Of Surrender.

Another preview of Quietly Blowing It came by way of “If It Comes In The Morning.” Next came “Jenny Of The Roses” off 2017’s Hallelujah Anyhow. The performance concluded with “Biloxi” from the 2016 album, Heart Like A Levee.
