Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Details 4th Round 2022 Lineup Additions
Steve Earle will host a tribute to those who we have lost over the past few years including John Prine, Justin Townes Earle and Nancy Bechtle.
Elvis Costello, Steve Earle and The Dukes, The Travelin’ McCourys and Jim Lauderdale are among the fourth round of additions to the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2022 lineup. The free, three-day music festival returns to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco between Friday, September 30 and Sunday, October 2 after two years presented virtually.
Bob Schneider, Moonalice, Cymande, Arooj Aftab, Cedric Watson and Alison Brown have also been confirmed to perform at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 2022. Acts announced this week join a lineup that already included Emmylou Harris, Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew’s Remain In Light, Marcus Mumford, Antibalas, Aoife O’Donovan, Béla Fleck’s My Bluegrass Heart, Joy Oladokun, Bonny Light Horseman, The Brothers Comatose, Lucius, Galactic, Amythyst Kiah and more.
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass organizers will also present “Out Of The Park” ticketed nighttime concerts at venues across the Bay Area on the weekend of the festival and surrounding dates. The latest nighttime benefits announced are a pair of Elvis Costello “Elvis Sings Hunter-Garcia” tributes to Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter and guitarist Jerry Garcia.
