HAIM made their way to 30 Rock for an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Sisters Este Haim, Danielle Haim and Alana Haim were invited to chat with host Jimmy Fallon for the first time and performed their recently premiered single, “Down to be wrong.”

The band’s late-night talk show appearance came on the cusp of the release of their studio album, I quit, which will arrive on Friday, June 20. “Down to be wrong” is one of 15 songs on the group’s fourth LP and first since 2020’s Women in Music Pt. III.

The group’s chat with Fallon touched on the I quit album cover, which was photographed by frequent HAIM collaborator, filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson. The trio also explained how the 1996 Tom Hanks-directed movie That Thing You Do! inspired the pending album’s title.

HAIM, who have an extensive tour planned supporting I quit, participated in a Tonight Show cold-opening sketch with Fallon. Watch the band perform “Down to be wrong,” the interview with Fallon and the cold open sketch below:
