HAIM played the first show of a two-night stand at The Bellwether on Wednesday. The sisterly trio debuted a handful of new songs and confirmed the upcoming release of a new studio album entitled I Quit.
HAIM kicked off the concert with the live debut of their recently released single, “Everybody’s trying to figure me out.” In the middle of the set, Este Haim, Danielle Haim and Alana Haim offered the live premiere of their song “Down To Be Wrong,” which was released today as their newest single.
Another live debut came as the penultimate song of the main set when the trio showcased “Blood In The Streets,” while Addison Rae danced onstage with the band. The encore at The Bellwether featured HAIM’s other recently released single, “Relationships.”
A large video screen behind the band projected the phrase “I quit,” followed by a rapid succession of things to quit. The scroll ended with the words “I quit new haim album coming June 20th” rolling across the screen.
