Guster Performs On ‘Saturday Sessions’

By Jeffrey Greenblatt Jan 19, 2019 7:39 am PST

Each Saturday, CBS This Morning presents a series of musical performances under the Saturday Sessions banner. This morning’s installment featured Guster, who stopped by the show’s Manhattan studio to perform a trio of songs from their just released new studio album Look Alive.

The Boston-born band delivered takes on “Overexcited,” “Hard Times” and “Hello Mr. Sun” from their long-awaited follow up to 2015’s Evermotion. The nine-track effort was produced by Leo Abrahams (Regina Spektor, Brian Eno/David Byrne) and tracked at a vintage keyboard museum in Calgary with additional sessions produced by both John Congleton and Collin DuPuis.
