Guitarfish Music Festival Announces Initial 2016 Lineup

The 2016 installment of the Guitarfish Music Festival will take place at Cisco Grove Campground in Cisco Grove, California July 28 – 31. Today, organizers of the 6th annual Guitarfish Music Festival have revealed the initial lineup for this year’s event.

ALO, Greyboy Allstars and Orgone are each aboard for Guitarfish ’16. Lyrics Born, Hamsa Lila, Poor Man’s Whiskey, Afrolicious and Mumbo Gumbo are also slated to play this July’s festival. Yak Attack, Jankytown Orchestra & the Jankasarous Art Car, The Starfish & Guitarfish Late Night Diva Ball Extravaganza, Gene Avarro Jr. & The Family, Dirty Revival, Joy & Madness, Katdelic Acoustic, Jimmy Leslie & The Flow, Peter Joseph Burtt & Kingtide, Crow and the Canyon and The 3 – Sunday Morning Gospel round out the list of Guitarfish ’16 acts announced today. More artists will be added to the lineup soon.

The four-day, four-stage camping festival is set high up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at the lush, 300-acre Cisco Grove Campground. Guitarfish’s location is just off I-80, about a half hour west of Truckee and less than an hour from Lake Tahoe. Other attractions besides the music include yoga, discussions with eco experts, a broad variety of food and drink vendors, costume theme contests, late night shows, interactive art installations as well as a multitude of outdoor activities.
