Gregg Allman Adds October & January Concerts

Today marks the release of a new live album from legendary performer Gregg Allman. Gregg Allman Live: Back to Macon, GA features Gregg’s eight-piece solo band performing at the venerable Grand Opera House on January 14, 2014 in the town where it all began for the Allman Brothers Band over 40 years ago. The new release is available in a variety of formats including a 2-CD/DVD bundle. Allman will return to the venue in January as part of a batch of just announced tour dates.
Following a headlining appearance at The Peach Music Festival next weekend, Gregg Allman and his band will hit the road for a tour that includes a number of co-bills with The Doobie Brothers. On August 29 Gregg will curate his own festival, The Laid Back Festival at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York. The keyboardist has added a number of October dates as well as a two-night stand in Macon.
