Grace Potter Performs ‘Release’ On ‘Kelly Clarkson Show’

Grace Potter was among Kelly Clarkson‘s guests on Thursday’s episode of syndicated talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show. Potter spoke with Clarkson and then performed “Release.”

Potter discussed her “COVID haircut” and Grammy nominations with the host. Grace revealed she didn’t even know the Grammy nominations were coming. The singer-songwriter learned her Daylight album was up for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Album awards from her husband and Daylight producer, Eric Valentine.

“Release” is featured on Daylight, which was released in October 2019. Grace wrote the song with Mike Busbee, who passed away due to cancer the month before the album came out.The Vermont native shared her “Release” video earlier this year.
