Grace Potter Shares ‘Back To Me’ Featuring Lucius

Grace Potter shared “Back To Me,” her new single featuring Lucius. The track appears on Potter’s upcoming new solo album, Daylight.

Lucius vocalists Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe contributed to four songs on Daylight, which is due on October 25. The follow-up to Potter’s 2015 solo album, Midnight, was produced by her husband Eric Valentine and also features keyboardist Benmont Tench. Potter spoke to Esquire about “Back To Me,” telling the outlet:

[That song] came in a complete, finished thought. I was listening to [Ann Peebles’s 1973 song “I Can’t Stand The Rain”] and just starting to feel like, oh man, I wanna go there. I want to have one of those songs that just slaps you in the face, but in such a sumptuous way that you can’t help but dance to it, even though it hurts.

Lucius will perform this weekend at Potter’s Grand Point North festival in Burlington, Vermont. Check out “Back To Me” below:
