Gov’t Mule Adds June 2023 Tour Dates & Final ‘Dark Side Of The Mule’ Concert

Gov’t Mule expanded their upcoming tour plans with the announcement of two June concerts and one last 2023 Dark Side Of The Mule Tour date featuring special guest Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening.

The veteran jam quartet, who will release their 12th studio album, Peace…Like A River, via Fantasy Records on June 16, will preface the Pink Floyd tribute run with a series of nine June 2023 tour dates. Gov’t Mule — guitarist Warren Haynes, multi-instrumentalist Danny Louis, bassist Jorgen Carlsson and drummer Matt Abts — will be on the road from June 9 – 22 including four shows with The Avett Brothers.

Mule recently confirmed a show at Harrah’s Resort Southern California in Valley Center, California on June 11. The four-piece also tacked on a concert at Grinders in Kansas City on June 15. Kansas City tickets go up for grabs this Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m. CT with Valley Center tickets available starting next Friday, April 28 at 10 a.m. PT.

Gov’t Mule will bring their Dark Side Of The Mule audio and visual spectacular honoring the music of Pink Floyd to festivals and amphitheaters between July 22 and August 20 with a handful of non-Dark Side stops on Willie Nelson‘s Outlaw Music Festival Tour thrown in for good measure. Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening will open most Dark Side Of The Mule shows, which are expected to include a full set of Mule followed by the Pink Floyd tribute.

The final addition to the excursion is a show in Council Bluffs, Iowa on August 5 featuring Bonham’s outfit as support. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m. CT after a presale using code FEARLESS on Wednesday, April 19 at 10 a.m. CT.
