We had been wondering if Gov’t Mule would present one of their patented “Mule-O-Ween” Halloween shows as it had yet to be announced and Warren Haynes will be spending the end of October bringing the Allman Brothers Band’s illustrious career to its end in NYC. Thankfully, Mule will indeed perform a Mule-O-Ween tribute this Halloween and on November 1.

Gov’t Mule will celebrate Halloween at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati, OH on October 31. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, September 19 at 11 a.m. ET. Past Mule-O-Ween performances have found the band paying tribute to the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and The Doors. This year, Gov’t Mule will present “Young Mule” -a Halloween set dedicated to the music of Neil Young. Jackie Greene will be the band’s special guest.

As we reported earlier, Gov’t Mule busted out their cover of “No Quarter” by Led Zeppelin at the Phases Of The Moon Music Festival on Sunday.

UPDATE 9:15 a.m.: Gov’t Mule and Jackie Greene will also present “Young Mule” with Jackie Greene on November 1 at the Orpheum Theater in Madison, WI and have added a few additional dates:
