Govt Mule Pays Tribute To B.B. King In Germany

On Thursday night blues legend B.B. King died in his Las Vegas home and ever since tributes to B.B. have poured in from all over the globe. Gov’t Mule is currently in the middle of a European Tour and paid tribute to B.B. King on Saturday night at Colos-Saal in Aschaffenburg, Germany.

Warren Haynes and Co. kicked off their second set with a version of “How Blue Can You Get?” dedicated to B.B. King. The song was a hit for B.B. King in 1964. Gov’t Mule has played the song in the past including at a tribute to the three kings (B.B., Freddie & Albert) at NYC’s Beacon Theatre on December 31, 2012.
