Gov’t Mule Continues European Tour In Zurich

On Wednesday night Gov’t Mule continued a tour of Europe with a visit to Kaufleuten in Zurich, Switzerland. Warren Haynes and his mates presented Swiss fans with a mix of classics and material from their recently released LP, Revolution Come … Revolution Go, as well as a few choice covers.
The foursome opened with “Mule” and the show rolled on with oldies “Thorazine Shuffle” and “Beautifully Broken.” Up next was “Pressure Under Fire,” the evening’s first song off the new album. Last night’s first set also featured a cover of “Doing It To Death” by The J.B.’s. Haynes & Co. kicked off the second set with Mr. Man. The closing frame also included “Dreams & Songs” and “Sarah, Surrender” off Revolution Come … Revolution Go. Wednesday’s second set concluded with “Dark Was The Night, Cold Was The Ground” by Blind Willie Johnson ahead of a “Stone Cold Rage” encore.
Mule’s tour resumes tonight in Milan, Italy.
