Gorillaz Announce Demon Dayz Festival & First Performance Since 2010

Animated rock band Gorillaz have announced the inaugural Demon Dayz Festival being staged this year in England. The debut event will be held at Dreamland in Margate, Kent on June 10 and will include the first Gorillaz performance since 2010.

The humans behind the cartoon band, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, issued a new Gorillaz single in January entitled “Hallelujah Money.” The song is expected to be included on the long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s The Fall LP and 2010’s Plastic Beach.

Gorillaz last performed a live concert in 2010 while touring in support of Plastic Beach. The full lineup of performers joining Gorillaz at the Demon Dayz Festival is expected to be revealed at a later date. Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 10, follow this link for details.
