Goose Performs With Preservation Hall Jazz Band & Karl Denson In New Orleans

The concert was part of Preservation Hall Foundation’s late-night Midnight Reserves series.

Goose followed their New Orleans Jazz Festival debut with a late-night appearance at Preservation Jazz Hall as part of the storied venue’s annual Midnight Reserves series. Members of Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Karl Denson were among the musicians who joined Goose during their time leading the collaborative performance.

Aided by the Pres Hall horns section and local guitarist Joshua Starkman, Goose’s first song selection was “Arcadia.” Their Midnight Reserves contribution continued with “Turned Clouds.” The three-song set ended with Denson coming on to add saxophone to “Hot Tea.”

Goose guitarist Rick Mitarotonda, Denson and members of Press Hall also performed with David Shaw at Midnight Reserves. Watch video of “Arcadia” and Shaw singing “Got Me Feeling Good” at Preservation Jazz Hall below:
