Goose served as the musical guest on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Connecticut-based jam quintet played “Hungersite” from their 2022 studio album Dripfield for their first appearance on late night television.
The band consisting of guitarist Rick Mitarotonda, multi-instrumentalist Peter Anspach, percussionist Jeff Arevalo, bassist Trevor Weekz and drummer Ben Atkind kept “Hungersite” to a concise four minutes, but still found time to include a soaring Mitarotonda solo. Anspach utilized a small rig for the performance filmed in Los Angeles with just an organ and piano part of his setup.
“Hungersite” was premiered live by Goose on February 26, 2022 at their Goosemas concert at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The studio version arrived in April ahead of Dripfield’s release on June 24.
