All Good Announces Inaugural Merryland Music Fest

Organizers of the All Good Festival have announced the inaugural Merryland Music Fest. The first-ever Merryland Music Fest will be held at the historic Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland July 9 – 10. Today, the festival’s organizers have detailed the lineup for Merryland.

The String Cheese Incident will play two sets at the festival. Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Grace Potter, Lotus, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Greensky Bluegrass, Shakey Graves, Yonder Mountain String Band, Langhorne Slim & The Law and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe are among the other acts set to perform at the inaugural Merryland Music Fest. The full lineup is listed below.

The festival’s acts will perform on two stages, alternating between the main stage and the Believe In Music Stage. Merryland is partnering with Believe in Music, a Baltimore-based non-profit started by Kenny Liner from The Bridge, focused on helping promote self-expression and community awareness through music education in underprivileged communities. According to organizers, the Merryland experience features an expanded footprint including a second stage, an interactive space within Symphony Woods (a 40 acre wooded preserve), unique local artisans, philanthropic groups and crowd performers.

Kick-Off Concerts on Friday, July 8 will feature Papadosio with ELM at Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore and Soul Rebels with People’s Blues of Richmond at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. A Late-Night Concert hosted by Kung Fu with guest appearances by Karl Denson and more will take place Saturday, July 9 at Rams Head Live.

Advance two-day weekend passes go on sale Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. ET which will be followed by the on-sale for single-day passes March 25 at 10 a.m. ET. Passes will be available via the festival’s website.
