Ghost Light closed out their recent fall tour with a sold-out show at Otus Supply in Detroit on December 8. The band released official audio of the performance as the latest installment of their Full Show Friday series.

Guitarists Tom Hamilton and Raina Mullen, keyboardist Holly Bowling, bassist Steve Lyons and drummer Scotty Zwang kicked off the evening with a seamless, hour-long set. Up first was a well-jammed “Keep Your Hands To Yourself” sequence featuring excursions into “Living On A Thin Line” and “Weight Of The World.” The quintet closed out the frame with “Boy” from Hamilton’s Brothers Past days.

The concert was filled with improvisation as the “Everybody Knows” second set opener spanned nearly 20 minutes itself. “Everybody Knows” bled into “Best Kept Secret” which in turn gave way to American Babies gem “Swimming At Night.” Ghost Light continued to mine the American Babies repertoire for gold as “Streets Of Brooklyn” came next. The set came to a close with a take on the original “Doorway To A Silent Chamber” featuring a mesmerizing rendition of Radiohead’s “There There” within. Hamilton, Mullen, Bowling, Lyons and Zwang ended the evening and the tour with a cover of Derek & The Dominos’ “Keep On Growing” that they jammed into the end of “Best Kept Secret.”
