George Strait Covers Tom Petty With The Heartbreakers’ Mike Campbell At SoFi Stadium

George Strait welcomed Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ guitarist Mike Campbell for a performance of “You Wreck Me” at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Campbell also joined Chris Stapleton, who was on the bill — along with Little Big Town — for the concert the football stadium near Los Angeles.

Stapleton also sat in with Strait for a three-song segment composed of “Cowboys Like Us,” “You Don’t Know What You’re Missing” and “Honky Tonk Hall of Fame.” Country singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert was another of Strait’s special guests, joining him early in his set for “Run” and “How ‘Bout Them Cowgirls.”

Lambert appeared alongside Stapleton as well to perform their recently released collaborative single, “A Song to Sing.” Campbell’s time onstage with Stapleton included a performance of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ “I Should Have Known It,” along with Stapleton’s “Arkansas.”
