The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton, Florida hosted the first night of Biscuit Fest 4 on Thursday, which featured performances from Talking Heads/Phish/Pink Floyd tribute act Pink Talking Fish and George Porter Jr. & Friends. The Meters bassist as well as guitarist Billy Iuso and saxophonist Ron Holloway sat in with Pink Talking Fish during their lengthy set at Biscuit Fest 4.

The George Porter Jr. and Friends set saw George joined by Iuso, Holloway, Rick Umlah and Brayden Turner. Porter Jr., along with Iuso and Holloway, emerged early in the Pink Talking Fish set for a well-jammed version of Talking Heads’ “Houses In Motion.” Holloway returned later in the evening to add sax to a number of songs including Phish’s “Ghost,” Pink Floyd’s “Money” and Talking Heads’ “Burning Down The House.” PTF brought the evening to a close with a “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)” / “Character Zero” encore. Biscuit Fest 4 continues tonight with performances from George Porter Jr. & Friends and The Nth Power. Pink Talking Fish resumes a run of shows with The Z3 at The Palace Theatre in Stafford Springs, Connecticut tonight.
