Geese added another prestigious stage to their roster of places where the band has performed by recording a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR Music. The five-piece offered stripped-down takes on three songs from their 2025 album, Getting Killed.
According to NPR, Geese brought their own decorative touch to the Tiny Desk, adding “a small, toy goose gifted to them on tour, a stuffed Snoopy, a figurine of Sonic cradling Jesus, Minecraft sticky notes and a Mets hat” to the eclectic surrounding props.
Geese, who made their Saturday Night Live debut last month, recorded their Tiny Desk Concert while on tour last December. There was no overlap between songs selected for SNL and NPR, with “Husbands,” “Cobra” and “Half Real” making the Tiny Desk setlist.
Geese – frontman Cameron Winter, guitarist Emily Green, bassist Dominic DiGesu, drummer Max Bassin and keyboardist Sam Revaz – are currently on tour in Australia.
