Geese’s Cameron Winter Plays New Song ‘Ben’ In Auckland

Cameron Winter prefaced Geese's run on the Laneway Festival circuit in New Zealand and Australia with a solo performance at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Auckland on Wednesday. The singer-songwriter unveiled a new song, “Ben,” during his set.
As his band Geese is on the rise, so is frontman Cameron Winter as a solo artist. He released his acclaimed solo debut, Heavy Metal, in late 2024. Winter dipped heavily from the LP at his show in Auckland, performing six of the 10 tracks including favorites such as “Love Takes Miles,” “Drinking Age” and “The Rolling Stones.”
Winter bookended the main set with a pair of non-Heavy Metal songs “It All Fell In The River” and “Take It With You.” The debut of “Ben” arrived in the eighth song slot. Hear the solo piano performance below:
