Full Show Video: Dopapod Begins 2-Night Stand In Boston

Northeast jam quartet Dopapod are currently on the road as part of an extensive Spring Tour that featured a two-night stand at The Paradise in Boston earlier this month. Videographer MKDevo recently rolled out high-definition, full show video of Dopapod’s April 7th concert at The Paradise which included a guest spot from Caton Sollenberger of The Jauntee.

Guitarist Rob Compa started the show by himself for “Garbage Man” before the rest of the group joined in. MKDevo captured the moment ahead of the opener when the band figured out their gameplan. The first set of the show embedded below also featured an adventurous version of “FABA,” a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Pigs (Three Different Ones)” and more. Dopapod was joined by Sollenberger for “Pigs” and Compa told the crowd his friendship with Caton dated back to the pair’s time at nearby Berklee College Of Music.

Dopapod began the second set of their Boston opener with a lengthy “Dracula’s Monk” followed by an unfinished “Priorities” they segued into “French Bowling.” Next came “Flipped” along with a 15-minute “Vol 3 #86” ahead of a set-closing “STADA.” The foursome ended the evening with an “Indian Grits” encore. Check out multi-cam video of “Pigs (Three Different Ones)” as well as footage of both sets shot from the soundboard:
