In early 1994 Rush embarked on 55-date tour in support of their fifteenth studio album –Counterparts. The setlist Rush used for the tour contained a number of their best-known songs along with six tracks off Counterparts.

On March 27, 1994 the tour visited The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, MI; where video from the professionally-shot in-house feed was recorded and subsequently circulated in trader circles. The bootleg release A View From The Palace contains the best version of the footage that’s available, so we’ve selected it for this week’s Full Show Friday. Watch the Canadian trio deliver exceptional takes on classics such as “The Spirit Of Radio,” “Limelight,” “Closer To The Heart” and…of course…”Tom Sawyer.”

Tracklist: Dreamline, The Spirit of Radio, The Analog Kid, Cold Fire, Time Stand Still, Nobody’s Hero, Roll the Bones, Animate, Stick It Out, Double Agent, Limelight, Mystic Rhythms, Closer to the Heart, Show Don’t Tell, Leave That Thing Alone, The Rhythm Method, The Trees, Xanadu, Hemispheres: Prelude, Tom Sawyer, Force Ten, YYZ
