Full Show Friday | Music Vault Shares Early Wilco Show

Now that the entire Music Vault collection of over 13,000 concert videos is available on YouTube our Full Show Friday options are endless! One of the videos that’s just been posted to the channel features exceptional footage of an early Wilco show from 1996 in the band’s hometown of Chicago.

Jeff Tweedy was joined by bassist John Stirratt, drummer Ken Coomer, multi-instrumentalist Jay Bennett and ace pedal steel guitarist Bob Egan in the version of Wilco which played at The Vic Theatre in Chicago on November 27, 1996. The setlist contains 10 tracks off the group’s sophomore effort, Being There, and a smattering of songs from Tweedy’s time in Uncle Tupelo. Let’s take a peek:
