Full Show Friday | John Scofield Uberjam Band At Telluride Jazz

Over a decade ago John Scofield put together one of the best ensembles he’s ever performed with, dubbed the “Uberjam Band,” featuring guitarist Avi Bortnick, bassist Jesse Murphy and drummer Adam Deitch. Sco toured with the band and went on to record a 2003 follow-up with Andy Hess replacing Murphy on bass. Late last year Scofield decided to revive the project and released Uberjam Deux this past May. The guitarist has also hit the road hard with the band for a tour that included an appearance at last week’s Telluride Jazz Festival.
