Full Show Audio & Video: Scott Metzger’s Kinda Wolf! Plays Brooklyn
By Scott Bernstein Apr 28, 2017 • 2:02 pm PDT

Guitarist Scott Metzger put together a special version of his WOLF! trio to play Hometown Bar-B-Que in Brooklyn on Saturday night. Metzger was joined by talented bassist Jordan Scannella and his longtime friend and band mate Joe Russo on drums for a show he referred to at one point as “Scott Metzger’s Kinda Wolf!”
WOLF! normally features Jon Shaw on bass and Tyler Floreth on drums. Floreth was attending to personal matters, while Jon Shaw was on tour with Bob Weir as part of the Campfire Band. The trio that played Brooklyn on Saturday focused on songs from the WOLF! repertoire including “Chuckles,” “Pork N Slaw,” “Tomahawk Chop” and “Sock Full Of Quarters” as well as a cover of The Band’s “Ophelia” to form the evening’s two sets. The night came to a close with a “Get In The Van” encore. Crispy audio and high-quality video have surfaced:
