By Andy Kahn Feb 20, 2016 • 9:39 am PST
Friday evening, the Tedeschi Trucks Band played the second show of their sold-out three-night stand at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and their backing band had the help of openers The London Souls for the concert’s finale.
The 12-piece Tedeschi Trucks Band delivered a 13-song main set that began with “I Want More” and “Don’t Know What It Means” from their recently issued studio LP Let Me Get By. TTB then covered “The Letter” and “Darling Be Home Soon” before playing the title track of the new record. Other songs from the album making the setlist last night included “Right On Time, “Anyhow” and “Just As Strange.” After closing out their main set with the original “The Storm,” TTB brought out Tash Neal and Chris St. Hilaire who make up The London Souls for the two-song encore.
Neal added guitar and vocals and St. Hilaire added percussion to The Beatles “I’ve Got A Feeling” and Ron Davies’ “It Ain’t Easy” (recorded by David Bowie) for the show’s final performance. Stream an audience recording of the entire show from Friday night thanks to edtyre below:
