Full Show Audio: Holly Bowling Joins Cabinet In Wilkes-Barre

Pianist Holly Bowling served as an opening act before Cabinet’s fifth annual hometown holiday show at F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Following her warm up set, Bowling was welcomed back to the stage to sit-in with Cabinet on a pair of songs during their headlining appearance on December 23.

Cabinet started off with “Home Now” with a little “Oh Christmas Tree” worked into the first set opener. The first half also featured a pairing of “Heavy Rain” > “Treesap” prior to Bowling’s emergence to add piano to “The Dove.” Holly stuck around for a rendition of “Tower” before yielding the stage back to Cabinet for “Celebration,” and “Sunset In Vergennes” > “Susquehanna Breakdown” to close out set one.

The second set saw Cabinet open with “Bottom Of The Sea” ahead of takes on favorites such as “Coalminers,” “Shifty Shaft” and “Eleanor.” Cabinet encored with “Cool River” > “Arco Arena” > “Oxygen” to wrap up their local holiday performance.
