Full Record Store Day Black Friday List Revealed

Once again Record Store Day will also cover Black Friday, which falls on November 28th this year. Today, Record Store Day organizers have unveiled the official list of titles that will be available to indie record stores on Black Friday and we’re glad to see the likes of Umphrey’s McGee, the Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, Gov’t Mule and Leftover Salmon on it.

The Grateful Dead will release portions of their famed November 18, 1972 performance from Houston on 12″ vinyl this Black Friday including a 25-minute “Playing In The Band.” Umphrey’s McGee will issue their first-ever 7″ featuring the unreleased new original “October Rain,” the first instrumental UM track since the 2011 album Death By Stereo, as well as “Room to Breathe” from the Similar Skin sessions. The Dave Matthews Band will unveil the Recently EP on vinyl for the first time, while Leftover Salmon will release High Country on CD this Black Friday as part of the “RSD First” series. Meanwhile, Gov’t Mule will issue Stoned Side Of The Mule as a limited edition 12″ vinyl featuring highlights from the group’s 2009 Mule-O-Ween performance of Rolling Stones covers.
