The 2017 Frendly Gathering Music Festival will be held at its new home of Sugarbush Resort in Waitsfield, Vermont June 29 – July 1. Organizers of the festival, professional snowboarder Danny Davis and television personality Jack Mitrani, have revealed the initial music lineup for this year’s festival.
Once again, Vermont’s own Twiddle have been tapped to headline and will play throughout the weekend on various stages. Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Turkuaz, Moon Hooch, Kat Wright and Monophonics are also among the acts set to play Frendly Gathering ’17. More acts will be announced in the weeks and months to come.
“It’s hard to say goodbye to Timber Ridge and we truly appreciate the support we had in southern Vermont, but we are excited about the new opportunities that Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley have to offer Frendly,” said co-founder Jack Mitrani. “What’s important to note is that the intimate atmosphere we have always had will remain. Sugarbush has an amazing team that is just as amped about the festival as we are. Our lineup is already looking great and the activities we can bring to the weekend’s agenda will be leave you inspired and renewed. We’re so excited for the future of Frendly.”
Limited Early Bird passes are on sale now via the festival’s website.
