Free Primus & The String Chese Incident Webcasts Coming

By Scott Bernstein Nov 5, 2014 12:30 pm PST

Update: Yahoo pulled the webcast off the schedule before show time, and have removed most of the information from the event page. A tweet from Yahoo’s Canadian arm indicated the broadcast was in progress, but we’re sorry to see this webcast does not seem to be happening after all. There’s been no official word from Live Nation or Yahoo Screen one way or the other. The String Cheese Incident webcast is still on the schedule as of press time.

The partnership between Live Nation and Yahoo! Screen to present free webcasts of 365 concerts over the course of a year continues to pay dividends for live music fans with a recent schedule update. Upcoming performances from Primus and The String Cheese Incident are coming our way via the Live Nation channel on Yahoo! Screen over the next few days.

We realize Primus and The String Cheese Incident have very little to do with each other musically but one thing they do have in common is many fans on JamBase. This Saturday night, November 8, Live Nation is serving up a free live webcast of Primus’ Primus & The Chocolate Factory Tour performance from The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Then, on Monday night, November 10, you can watch a free live webcast of The String Cheese Incident’s Fall Tour performance at the State Theatre in Ithaca, New York. Both shows and webcasts are scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET.

All webcasts can be viewed at the Live Nation channel on Yahoo! Screen.
