Forecastle Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Additions

The Forecastle Festival wil celebrate its 15th year on July 14 – 16 at Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Organizers have confirmed additional acts headed to the banks of the Ohio River later this year.

Kentucky-native Sturgill Simpson as well as Spoon, Real Estate, Phantogram, Capital Cities, K.Flay, What So Not, Whitney, Classixx, Joseph, Chicano Batman, Jaye Jayle, Jeffrey James, Oyster Kids and *repeat repeat have been added to Forecastle 2017. They join previously revealed acts such as headliners LCD Soundsystem, Weezer, Odesza and fellow performers Cage the Elephant, PJ Harvey, Run the Jewels, Foxygen, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, GRiZ, Charles Bradley, Vince Staples, Rayland Baxter, Teddy Abrams & Friends, Conor Oberst and more.

General Admission weekend passes are on sale now via the festival’s website. VIP weekend passes are also available. Once again bourbon will play a prominent role at the event as The Forecastle Bourbon Lodge and Gonzo Bar will return with a full lineup of bourbon offerings from across the state. Bourbon Lodge memberships can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster for $25 plus applicable fees. Forecastle organizers also revealed The Kentucky Landing will return and feature a variety of local craft beers, food trucks, businesses and a selection of non-profit organizations and craft vendors selling Kentucky-made goods.
