Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and producer/musician Greg Kurstin covered Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen.” The video comes as part of the duo’s The Hanukkah Sessions.

The Hanukkah Sessions sees Grohl and Kurstin covering songs from famous Jewish artists for each night of Hanukkah, which runs through Friday, December 18. The duo kicked off the series with The Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” on Thursday and followed with Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”

“Mississippi Queen” appears on Mountains 1970 debut album Climbing! The cover saw Grohl singing and playing drums — including a duct taped cup for the song’s iconic cow bell — with Kurstin on synthesizer and production elements. Read a note that accompanied the video below:

Talk about making a mountain out of a mohel … named Leslie Weinstein at his bris, the singer of our next band built a wailing wall of guitar as Leslie West. Check out our take on a track from Leslie’s monolithic band, MOUNTAIN.
