Foo Fighters Debut 'Your Favorite Toy' Track In Bridgeport

Foo Fighters launched a brief U.S. run on Tuesday at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The rockers rolled out “Spit Shine” off their new album Your Favorite Toy.

The LP arrived on April 24 via Roswell Records/RCA Records. Your Favorite Toy marks the band’s first album with new drummer Ilan Rubin. Foo frontman Dave Grohl handled drums on 2023’s But Here We Are, which arrived a year after the untimely death of the band’s longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Foo Fighters recently offered debuts of Your Favorite Toy cuts “Child Actor” and “Caught In The Echo” on SNL UK. FF performed both those songs in Bridgeport on Tuesday and also fit in the live premiere of the album’s “Spit Shine.” Watch Grohl lead the band through the metal-infused rocker below:

Foo Fighters also performed the title track, “Of All People” and “Unconditional” from Your Favorite Toy. Older favorites included “The Pretender,” “My Hero,” “Learn to Fly,” “Best of You,” “All My Life,” “Times Like These,” “Monkey Wrench” and “Walk.” The rockers sealed the show with perennial closer “Everlong.”
