Foo Fighters Announce Intimate New York City Gig

This Friday, HBO premieres the eighth and final installment of the Foo Fighters documentary series Sonic Highways. The series finale finds the band recording a track from the album of the same name in New York City and diving into the rich musical history of The Big Apple. Foo Fighters will celebrate with a performance at the intimate confines of NYC’s Irving Plaza on Friday night.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 5, aka the same day of the show, at the Irving Plaza Box Office ONLY. There’s a limit of two tickets per person and fans are advised not to lineup before 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon. Tickets go up for grabs at 5 p.m. with doors set to open at 7. Sonic Highways NYC installment airs at the venue at 9 p.m. and then the band takes the stage.
