The Flaming Lips Announce North American Tour 2021 & 2022

The Flaming Lips will hit the road in Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 for North American tours. Wayne Coyne and his mates will tour in support of their 2020 album, American Head.
Philadelphia’s The Fillmore hosts the tour opener on November 7, 2021. The Flaming Lips then play two nights in Brooklyn November 8 – 9 before closing out the month with stops in Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Albany, Boston, Washington D.C., Montreal and Royal Oak (Michigan).

The Flaming Lips’ Spring 2022 excursion is currently scheduled to begin in the band’s home state of Texas with shows in San Antonio on March 27 and Houston on March 28. From there, the group hits New Orleans and Miami Beach to end the month ahead of April 2022 performances in Orlando, Atlanta, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Chicago, St. Paul, Madison, Denver, Boise, Portland (Oregon) and Spokane (Washington). The Flaming Lips close out the jaunt in May 2022 on the West Coast for dates in Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 7 at 10 a.m. local time.
