Farm Aid 2016 Organizers Announce Date, Lineup & Venue For Benefit Concert

The 2016 installment of Farm Aid will be celebrated at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia on September 17. Today the initial lineup for this year’s all-day music and food festival that is a benefit for family farmers has been revealed.

Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews will each perform with Tim Reynolds joining Matthews for his set. Alabama Shakes, Sturgill Simpsons, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Jamey Johnson, Margo Price, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, Carlene Carter and Insects Vs. Robots round out this year’s lineup.

A pre-sale starts tomorrow, Wednesday, June 22 at 12 p.m. ET via Farm Aid’s website. Tickets go on sale to the general public Monday, June 27 at 10 a.m. ET.
