Exclusive Videos Premiere: Yonder Mountain String Band Covers Pink Floyd At 2017 Northwest String Summit

This year’s installment of the Northwest String Summit will take place at Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, Oregon between July 19 – 22. As usual, Yonder Mountain String Band will perform multiple times over the course of the event. Today, JamBase is pleased to premiere three official videos from a special set the group laid down at the 2017 Northwest String Summit.
Yonder Mountain String Band are scheduled to perform their first set of NWSS ’18 on Thursday, July 19 and will then play the event on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21. Greensky Bluegrass are also aboard for four sets at this year’s String Summit. Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, Keller Williams & The Andys, Fruition, Mandolin Orange, The Lil Smokies, Steep Canyon Rangers, Dustbowl Revival, Jon Stickley Trio, Front Country, Danny Barnes and Darol Anger & The Furies are just some of the additional acts on the 2018 lineup.

For the past two years Yonder Mountain String Band has covered classic Pink Floyd albums at the Northwest String Summit. In 2016 the quintet tackled Animals and last year they treated festivalgoers to a complete performance of Meddle. JamGrass.tv was on hand to capture the action when YMSB was joined by drummer Jay Elliott and keyboardist Asher Fulero for their Meddle set on July 15, 2017.
