Phish Unearths 1990s Performances From 4 Fall Tour States For ‘Live Bait Vol. 25’

Phish released Live Bait Vol. 25, pairing four archival performances with the four states on the band’s upcoming fall tour. The nearly 80-minute compilation is available as a free MP3 download through LivePhish or for streaming with a LivePhish subscription.

Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro compiled the release and premiered its tracks Wednesday during a special episode of From The Archives on SiriusXM’s Phish Radio. The longest selection is a 29-minute “The Curtain” > “Tweezer” > “Keyboard Army” from the band’s November 12, 1995 concert in Gainesville, Florida.

The compilation also features a 1995 “Reba” from Waterloo Village in New Jersey, a 1994 “Run Like an Antelope” recorded in Richmond, Virginia and a 1999 “You Enjoy Myself” from Pelham, Alabama. Live Bait Vol. 25 marks the first time Phish has officially released audio from the band’s June 23, 1995; June 30, 1994 and November 12, 1995 concerts. The quartet’s September 28, 1995 show in Pelham, Alabama was previously represented on Live Bait 17 by “Tweezer” > “Makisupa Policeman.”

Phish’s eight-show fall tour visits Atlantic City, Richmond, Jacksonville and Huntsville from October 2 through 11. All eight concerts can be watched live or on demand with a LivePhish With subscription.
