Written by Dead Winter Carpenters co-founder Jesse Dunn, “Roller Coaster” features Greene on Hammond B3 Organ. The single was recorded at Prairie Sun Recording in Cotati, California with Zak Girdis and Kevin Bosley and in Brooklyn at Grand Street Recording with Ken Rich. Girdis and Matt Wright and mixed the track.

“Everything about this life is temporary,” said Dunn. “As the days roll by, more obstacles are thrown our way. ‘Roller Coaster’ is about these daily battles that we all face while doing our best to remain hopeful, live with intention, and be good to those we love.”
