Section 119, the premier Donut merch and officially licensed Grateful Dead designer, is offering JamBase readers 20% off their first purchase. Enter the code JAMBASE20 at checkout and get 20% off. Section 119 will throw in a pair of Donut socks with every order over $50 — that’s in addition to the 20% off offer for using JAMBASE20.

In response to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and to help protect the community, Section 119 shifted their immediate attention to making masks. Current mask offerings include Donut pattern and all-black styles. Grateful Dead bandanas are available as well.

For every order, Section 119 will donate a mask to a community in need, working through a list of essential workers, homeless shelters and rehabilitation centers.

Section 119 founders Bob and Gregg met in Chicago in 2006 and later relocated to the East Coast. Between attending many Phish shows together, they began making custom suits in New York City, incorporating the recognizable Donut pattern into their designs.

After meeting Jake in the lot outside of a show, he joined Section 119 to handle customer service. The team, which includes designer Shiv, has seen over 400 shows between them.

Section 119’s product line includes dress shirts with a subtle hint of Donut pattern, casual shirts/polos, henleys, blazers with Donut and Dead theme lining, socks, boxers, wallets and sunglasses (that are actually very nice) and more.

Drummer Jon Fishman sports Section 119 board shorts under the Donut dress he wears during Phish concerts and it was a pair of Section 119 boxers he revealed while changing clothes onstage during the band’s recent performance of “Willin’” in Mexico.

Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart has been seen rocking Section 119 socks. And as soon as the COVID-19 crisis ends, there’s a custom jacket awaiting Bob Weir.

Head to Section 119 and enter JAMBASE20 at checkout to save 20% off your first order. Spend $50 and they’ll throw in a pair of Donut socks and for each order they’ll donate a mask to a community in need.
