2015 has been a year of brightness for both the members of Perpetual Groove and their devoted fans. The band is back and thankfully will continue for the foreseeable future. Not only has PGroove played over 10 shows thus far with five more currently confirmed, the foursome recently hit the studio together for the first time since 2010. We’re pleased to premiere video of Perpetual Groove’s return to the studio, where they recorded the dynamic “Paper Dolls.”

Keyboardist Matt McDonald provided JamBase with context about what you’ll see below.

“This past September, Perpetual Groove stepped into the studio and recorded ‘Paper Dolls’ in one day. It was the first time we had all recorded together as a band since 2010, and we wanted to have it filmed to mark the moment. ‘Paper Dolls’ originally debuted in the summer of 2012, but having the video gives the song an intimate view of the song’s relevance now – musically and lyrically.”

“Paper Dolls” is currently available for purchase via iTunes. The band has also put official recordings from their acclaimed two-night Halloween run in Charleston up for sale. Next up for PGroove is a two-night stand at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver December 4 and 5. Brock, Matt, Adam and Albert end 2015 and begin 2016 with a three-night New Year’s Run at Terminal West in Atlanta spanning New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and January 2.
