Eurythmics were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Los Angeles on Saturday alongside Dolly Parton, Eminem, Duran Duran, Lionel Richie, Carly Simon and Pat Benatar. The British duo of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart delivered a rare performance for the occasion that included their 1983 smash hit, “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).”
Inducted by U2’s The Edge, Eurythmics kicked off their performance — just their fourth since a 1999 reunion tour — with “Would I Lie To You?” off their 1985 album Be Yourself Tonight. The duo’s 1986 song, “Missionary Man,” followed. Eurythmics wrapped their Rock Hall play with the iconic title track from their 1983 album, Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).
