Eric Krasno Shares Single & Announces Tour Dates

On July 8, Soulive and Lettuce guitarist Eric Krasno will issue a new solo album Blood From A Stone on his Feel Music Group/Round Hill label. Krasno has shared another preview of the album as well as detailed the musicians joining him on an upcoming tour in support of the LP.
Making up the Eric Krasno Band on the upcoming tour will be keyboardist DeShawn Alexander, bassist Alex Chakour, backing vocalist Mary Corso, drummer Eric Kalb and rhythm guitarist Danny Mayer. The ensemble will make their debut with a pair of shows in Colorado in July with support from Dumpstaphunk. The tour also includes headlining stops in New England and a fall run of co-bills with Marco Benevento in the Southeast. Along with some festival stops, the EKB will also be joined by supporting acts Marcus King Band and Armies at select dates.

Guests on the record include guitarist Derek Trucks, members of Soulive, Lettuce and The London Souls. It was written and recorded with Krasno’s Lettuce band mate Ryan Zoidis and producer Dave Gutter over the course of a few days at Gutter’s barn. One of the 10 songs on the new album that for the first time features Krasno’s vocals, All Music Guide premiered the album track “On The Rise.” Head here to pre-order Blood From A Stone and stream “On The Rise” below:
