Eric Krasno Unveils Official Video For ‘Waiting On Your Love’

As reported, Soulive and Lettuce guitarist Eric Krasno will soon release a new solo album Blood From A Stone on July 8 via his Feel Music Group/Round Hill label. Today, Billboard has premiered the official video for the LP’s first single “Waiting On Your Love.”

Blood From A Stone is Kraz’s first album to feature his own vocals with “Waiting On Your Love” among the songs he sang. “It’s something I didn’t know was there,” Krasno told Billboard about his vocal abilities. “I would have been totally content just being a guitar player and writing songs for other people, but this inspiration just happened, and I’m really glad it did, because it’s changed things. I didn’t know I had this in me.”

The guitarist moved from NYC to Maine to hold writing sessions with Dave Gutter from Rustic Overtones, penning most of the record over the course of a few days and recording in Gutter’s barn with Krasno’s Lettuce band mate Ryan Zoidis. Guests on the record include guitarist Derek Trucks, as well as members of Soulive, Lettuce and The London Souls.
