Singer-songwriter Elvis Costello contributed a song to the soundtrack of the upcoming movie Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool. His newly-penned “You Shouldn’t Look At Me That Way” has been issued a single in advance of the film’s December 29 stateside release.
Directed by Paul McGuigan, Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool stars Annette Bening and Jamie Bell. The film is an adaptation of Peter Turner’s similarly titled memoir regarding his relationship with actress Gloria Grahame.
Costello worked with The Roots on his most recent album, 2013’s Wise Up Ghost. His 2010 solo album National Ransom preceded the collaborative effort. Stream “You Shouldn’t Look At Me That Way” below:
